Some abroad people said to me my friends use the internet and it is a fee of around 4,000 yen but why my internet fee is around 6,000 yen?

The answer is there are 2 types of internet fee systems in Japan.
We call them Mansion type and Family type.
Mansion type （Condominium）
As you can see, the Mansion type is residents use the internet from publishing space.
And, it depds on how the internet is installed in the building.
This means the Mansion type has some types too.
VDSL, Hikari Line, and Lan Line.
Attention, some condominiums have not been installed by the Owner.
In this case, can not use the Mansion type (Condominium).
The biggest advantage point is more reasonable than family type.
Family type (House type)
As you can see, the Family type (House) is the internet installed to your house directly.
The internet fee is more expensive than the Mansion type but 100% of the internet speed can be Maximum of 1,000 Mbps.

They can touch all utility poles, and they know each building how to install the internet.
So, All Internet companies make NTT.co.Inc. to check which of the install types the building is.
